Charles L. Johnson (1876 - 1950)

Charles JohnsonJohnson was truly prodigeous, cranking out music and songs in *every* genre, and listening to inclusive samples of his music gives us an excellent feel for the sensibilities of the time. Among his other popular rags are "Doc Brown's Cakewalk" and "Porcupine Rag". Under the pseudonym Raymond Birch, he published several pieces, including "Blue Goose Rag" and "All The Money".
